Openness of Mind - Retreat Weekend

How we free ourselves from the battle of views

In this retreat we will look at why we can repeatedly become prisoners of our views and what effect this habit has on our inner peace and peaceful life with our partner, family, colleagues and friends. This weekend will be guided by Bettina Romhardt, dharma teacher from Berlin. Language: English.

Bettina became a disciple of Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh in 1993 and lived in his monastic community Plum Village in France for 5 years. Bettina is a member of the Order of Interbeing and was appointed as a Dharma teacher by Thich Nhat Hanh in 2004. She lives with her son in Berlin.

For whom: everyone is welcome, but experience with the tradition e.g. retreats is desirable

Date/Time: The weekend starts Friday, June 30, at 6 p.m. with a light meal. The program ends Sunday, July 2, at 4 pm. After joint clean-up and clean-up, we will be finished no later than 5 p.m.

Location: The weekend will take place at Bosoord Conference Center in Loenen. Read more about the facilities at Bosoord. 

Carpool: Through the registration form you can indicate if you can take someone with you. One week before the meeting we will send a carpool list of ride providers to all participants.

Cost: The participation fee is € 340 for those who can afford it. When you have less money you the fee is € 255. For students and youngsters the fee is €170 . Rental linen package costs 6.50 euros extra. Afterwards, dana is requested for the teacher as a thank you for her teaching.

Sign up: Registration is online and starts April 1, 2023. See the Register button at the very bottom of this announcement (appears in due course). Initially, we only have 2-bed rooms available (with private bathroom facilities).
Via the registration form you can express your interest in a single room. This costs 35 euros extra. Approximately 3 weeks in advance you will receive a message whether a single room is available for you.

If you would like to come only if a single-person room is available, do not register yet but send an email to express this wish to our administration at liaprogramma@aandacht.net.

The following cancellation policy applies: up to 4 weeks before the start 90% refund of the registration fee; up to 2 weeks 75%; after that no refund.
